Montrose, SD Porter Sculpture Park - Wayne Porter unknown Welded environment

Information: The Sculpture Park has 50 sculptures; all of the sculptures have been created by Wayne Porter. Wayne first started welding in his father's blacksmith shop in St. Lawrence, South Dakota, while he was in high school. Wayne then attended South Dakota State University. After graduation, he moved back to St. Lawrence and worked in the blacksmith shop and raised livestock. In Wayne’s spare time he would weld on his sculptures. The sculptures started out very small and got bigger. His art has changed through the years. Wayne is always working on new sculptures. Porter Sculpture Park
