Information:
Messina, Italy "Giovanni Cammarata had a business making cement garden ornaments and his sculpture garden, started in 1957, was at first intended simply to display his talents. Situated in a run-down area of Messina, the house is covered in shells, pebbles and pottery fragments, forming decorative patterns around the cement reliefs of figures and animals. The latter include depictions of historical episodes, such as Hannibal and his elephants advancing on Italy. Within the decorated walls of his courtyard and garden stand scores of sculptures."
"Monsters like King Kong and Godzilla stand alongside Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, while saints and Virgins pray beside temples, cathedrals and castles."
