Information:
Pablo Calderon was born in 1952 in El Salvador. He came to San Francisco with most of his family about 15 years ago and started creating art in our studio in 2002.
When he first encountered Creativity Explored, he told us that he was more interested in making money than in making art. Two years later, he has realized that he can do both and has become a successful member of our studio.
Pablo’s powerful faces, flowers, and animals are found on two-dimensional work as well as decorate chairs, tables, and other pieces of furniture and objects d’art.
Creativity Explored is a nonprofit multimedia visual arts center for people with developmental disabilities. Our artwork is appreciated and collected by outsider, naive, self-taught, and folk art lovers from around the world.
