Information:
Andrea Badami was born in Omaha, Nebraska, but spent much of his childhood and early adulthood in Sicily. He served in the Italian army during WWII, was captured by the British and spent the rest of the war as a POW. When the war ended he took his wife & daughter back to Omaha, where he took a job with the railroad. He began painting in the early 1960s, and his style reflects his European & American background. He retired to Tucson, Arizona, where he lived out the rest of his life.
