Information:
Ben Allman was born in the Catawba Valley of NC and is among the next generation Folk Pottery Artists. Mr. Allman makes face jugs, swirlware, and a variety of other pottery items. He uses all hand dug NC clay for his pottery and can turn anything from a miniature up to a 5 gallon.
To quote Mr. Allman, "Just about every Catawba Valley Potter has helped me in one way or another, and it's been very much appreciated. The BB Craig family of Vale, NC has been a great influence."
Ben Allman has been privileged to work with BB Craig, Walter Fleming, and others. His pottery is very desirable and is destined to appreciate in the future.
