Information:
One of the Midwest's most renowned carvers of granite and marble, Hance White, ran a thriving tombstone business in Pittsburg, which at the turn of the century was a bustling mining community. The building he ran his operations from was a work of folk art itself. There are decorative touches from top to bottom and a series of portraits in stone ringing the exterior, of folks like Bat Masterson, Wyatt Earp, Jesse James and Carrie Nation, among other notables of the day.
